Sharon Rohrbach is the co-founder of Nurses for Newborns Foundation. She spent 17 years as CEO, growing that organization from a home office to a 3.6 million dollar organization with offices in St. Louis, Missouri and Nashville, Tennessee. The organization has served more than 50,000 families in four states.
Sharon is an author, speaker and national consultant to hospitals, home health agencies and individual nurses. She is a recipient of several national awards including the Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leadership Award, the Oprah Winfrey "Use Your Life" award, the Woman's Day magazine "Woman Who Inspire Us" and the national Excellence Award for Community Service presented by the Association of Woman's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing, and the Civic Ventures Purpose Prize.
Sharon is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Maryville, University, past member of the St. Louis Regional Health Commission and current member of the Missouri State Early Childhood Coordinating Board.
She has spent many years realizing her dream of making a difference for mothers and babies. She is now ready to switch gears and help others realize their dreams of "giving back to society" and finding creative solutions to society's most challenging problems.
Sharon has overcome numerous obstacles to found and sustain a thriving national organization. She has chosen Dynamic Change as a vehicle to disseminate the lessons learned along the way to others who now find themselves on a similar journey attempting to serve vulnerable populations.
